Tons of veggies in our special tomato-based sauce with a hit of tofu for that plant source protein and high fibre pasta. Great when you want to give them a veggie only dish, but don’t necessarily want to tell them.. Ssshhhh!

"There is significant evidence that a higher fibre intake is associated with reduced chronic disease risk and a longer life. However, unfortunately most USA kids fall short of their fibre requirements. Our vegan bolognese offers a double hit of fibre, thanks to lots of fibre-rich veggies, as well high fibre pasta. It’s also full of lycopene-rich tomatoes. Lycopene is a type of vitamin A, which, due to its antioxidant properties, research has suggested, may decrease the risk of developing certain chronic diseases".

 

COOKING TIP - if the dish dries out during cooking and becomes stodgy, add water a little at a time until you have the desired consistency.
